Aplikasi ini direka khusus bagi penduduk Malaysia untuk menghantar permohonan kecemasan berkaitan dengan Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM).

Aplikasi SaveME 999 POLIS menggunakan fungsi Global Positioning System (GPS) di dalam telefon pintar bagi mendapatkan lokasi kedudukan pengguna semasa menghantar maklumat kecemasan kepada Pusat Panggilan Kecemasan 999.

Pengguna boleh mengaktifkan aplikasi ini dengan menekan ikon ‘SaveME 999 POLIS’ pada skrin telefon pintar. Apabila permohonan kecemasan dibuat, alamat GPS dan maklumat pengguna akan dihantar ke Pusat Panggilan Kecemasan 999. Maklumat tambahan berkenaan insiden dan lokasi kejadian juga boleh ditambah ke dalam permohonan yang dihantar. Semua maklumat ini akan dapat membantu pihak PDRM bagi menghantar bantuan dengan lebih cepat dan tepat.

Fungsi ‘Lokasi Pratetap’ pada aplikasi ini membolehkan pengguna menambah alamat-alamat yang selalu dikunjungi seperti rumah, pejabat, rumah ibubapa atau tempat-tempat lain yang dianggap penting. Jika berlaku kecemasan di salah satu lokasi pratetap, pengguna boleh memilih lokasi tersebut dari senarai Lokasi Pratetap dan menghantar permohonan kecemasan.

CARA PENGGUNAAN SAVEME 999 POLIS

Langkah 1

Masukkan kod SaveME 999 POLIS iaitu 999.

Langkah 2

Masukkan butiran kejadian seperti jenis kecemasan dan lokasi kejadian. Pengguna boleh memilih lokasi preset yang telah dimasukkan seperti lokasi rumah atau tempat kerja.

Langkah 3

Pengguna boleh memasukkan alamat pratetap bagi tujuan memudahkan penghantaran maklumat sekiranya berlaku kecemasan. Alamat seperti lokasi rumah dan tempat kerja boleh diisi pada ruangan ini.

Langkah 4

Setelah semua maklumat diisi, pengguna boleh menghantar permohonan dengan menekan butang Click Here. Paparan telefon pintar akan memaklumkan apabila permohonan berjaya dihantar.

i. SaveME 999 POLIS Privacy Policy

SaveME 999 POLIS “the App” is designed for Malaysians to send an emergency request for cases specifically related to Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM).

SaveME 999 POLIS application utilizes the internet broadband to transmit the text messages. In addition, it also uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) in smart phones to identify the location of the user.

Users can activate the application by pressing the ‘SaveME 999 POLIS’ icon on the smart phone. The GPS address and the sender’s details such as name, telephone number, type of emergency and registered address of the sender will be transmitted automatically to MERS 999 Response Center(MERS 999 RC).   

Additional information about the incident and location detail can be added to the message. This information will assist PDRM to send the required help fast and accurate.

This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used and shared when you install or use the App in connection with an emergency agency (POLIS DIRAJA MALAYSIA).

ii. Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the SaveME 999 POLIS, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your registered SaveME 999 POLIS application such as your name, gender, identification card no, address, phone number, type of incident and incident location.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We collect personal information directly when you send emergency request through your SaveME 999 POLIS apps in order to provide the Emergency Services.

Additionally, we use this personal information to communicate with you to get detail information before emergency agencies reach to your location to send the required help fast and accurate.

iii. Sharing Your Personal Information

MERS 999 Response Center (RC) and Emergency Agencies such as Polis DiRaja Malaysia(PDRM), Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia(JBPM), Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia(KKM), Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia(APM) and Angkatan Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia (APMM) may use your information.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations (Personal Data Protection Act 2010) to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

iv. Data Retention

When you register or send emergency request through the application, we will maintain your Information for our records.

v. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
